People would wear masks if they had to, online poll results say

During the last Citizen online poll we asked "if a local business informed you that you had to wear a face mask before entering, would you?" With 63 per cent and 723 votes readers answered "yes, it's for my safety and the safety of the staff.

During the last Citizen online poll we asked "if a local business informed you that you had to wear a face mask before entering, would you?"

With 63 per cent and 723 votes readers answered "yes, it's for my safety and the safety of the staff." 

On the flipside with 15 per cent and 177 votes, readers said "no, I would take my business elsewhere."

The third most popular answer was "yes, because I support local business," with 12 per cent and 140 votes. Trailing with nine percent and 107 votes is "no I don't believe non-medical masks protect anyone."

There were a total of 1,147 votes. Remember this is not a scientific poll.

The current question posted for our online poll on the main page of our website is "do you think it's appropriate to be holding anti-racism rallies against Dr. Bonnie Henry's recommendations?"
