Paving projects scheduled

Paving crews will be out working on four City projects over the next two weeks. The effort will start with the northbound lanes between Fifth and 15th Avenues, starting this Monday and continuing through to Friday. The project's length is 2.

Paving crews will be out working on four City projects over the next two weeks.

The effort will start with the northbound lanes between Fifth and 15th Avenues, starting this Monday and continuing through to Friday. The project's length is 2.32 lane kilometres and the estimated cost is $312,820.

Also on tap:

- From June 21 to 27, work will be carried out on the southbound lanes between Massey Drive and Ferry Avenue. The project's length is 2.53 lane km and the estimated cost is $334,530.

- From June 22 to 28, Domano Boulevard, between Moriarty and Trent, will be repaved. That project's length is also 2.53 lane km and the estimated cost is $334,530.

- From June 23 to 29, PG Pulpmill Road will be repaved from the city limit to 685 metres west adding up to 1.37 lane km and an estimated $389,170 in cost.

In all 11 projects are scheduled for this summer, adding up to $3.5 million, a 2.9-per-cent increase from last year. As well, roughly $1 million has been earmarked for patching.
