If you travelled with Prince George Taxi earlier this month, you may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Northern Health has issued a warning that those who used the service on Oct. 2 or 3 between the overnight hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. should monitor themselves for symptoms until Oct. 17.

"Public health contact tracing is underway and, where possible, NH is reaching out directly to individuals who have been exposed," the authority says in a release.

If you remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, you do not need to self isolate and can continue with day-to-day activities.

"If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19, please self-isolate and contact the COVID-19 Online Clinic and Information Line for Northern BC residents: 1-844-645-7811, or contact your primary care provider.

If you have been identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact, please know that NH Public Health will contact you directly and provide further instruction."
