School district superintendent Brian Pepper has issued a formal response to parent group's proposals to trim the school district's budget by $9 million over three years in which he concurs with a handful of suggestions but dismisses others as unrealistic.

Stressing he welcomes the work they've done, Pepper said their suggestions go some way to tackling the school district's challenges with infrastructure and resource allocation.
