The volunteer service will have 20 to 25 teams ready to drive party-goers home in their own vehicles on Friday and Saturday. On average, Operation Red Nose provides between 102 and 148 rides per night on the last weekend before Christmas.

"We expect to have another busy weekend and we'll have enough volunteer road teams available to meet the demand," Operation Red Nose spokesperson Andrea Johnson said.

So far this year, the service - which is provided by the Rotary Club of Prince George-Nechako in partnership with ICBC and the RCMP - has provided 360 safe rides home.

Operation Red Nose will also be available Dec. 29-31.
