Operation Red Nose volunteers will be taking to Prince George's streets tonight and tomorrow night to deliver holiday season celebrators and their vehicles safely home.
There will be 22 teams out on the road tonight and another 24 on Saturday night.
To get a ride, call 250-962-RIDE (7433). Phone lines open at 9 p.m. and close at 3 a.m.
Donations from clients are accepted but if you don't have cash, don't worry.
ORN also needs volunteers for New Years Eve. As of Friday morning, 25 teams had committed and at least 15 more teams of two to three people are needed.
To volunteer, go online to www.ornpg.ca and fill out an application. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and undergo a criminal record check which is part of the application.
Volunteers on New Year's Eve have a chance to win a variety of prizes, including a helicopter ride over the city thanks to Aberdeen Helicopters.
Operation Red Nose is a designated driving service organized by the Nechako Rotary Club in partnership with the Prince George RCMP and ICBC.
