The discovery of a large grow op two years ago has led to one year in jail for a man who was arrested at the scene.
Ngoc Tot Tien was apprehended Jan. 3, 2010 when police executed a search warrant on a Fairburn Road home and seized 1,299 marijuana plants along with marijuana growing equipment.
Ngoc was issued the sentence Thursday in Prince George provincial court for production of controlled substance
Ngoc had also been charged with fraudulently consuming electricity after a hydro bypass was found but the charge was dropped as was one of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
