Prince George band Crones is about to release a brand new full-length album titled Aghast – and to celebrate they’re hosting a party at the legion.

The band has been making music around town for about seven years, but has evolved from local musician Nathan Kelly’s solo project to a five-piece-indie rock band, that make audiences cut loose on the dance floor.

Crones believe music is supposed to be fun and describe themselves as having a “let’s hang out and scream some tunes style when it comes to writing, recording and performing live.”

They’ve got their first single, Bleakness, making the rounds including its accompanying music video.

The album will be released Saturday, March 16 alongside the launch party at the Legion, but it is also available to pre-order through Band Camp.

If you want to check out the band the show takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion (1116 Sixth Ave), starting around 9 p.m.

You’ll also be able to check out fellow Good Egg Records artists who will also be performing, including The Brain Porter.
