Every year, we say 'goodbye' to legendary musicians who didn’t make it through to see another year.
To honour these artists, a local Prince George label, Good Egg Records, is hosting Songs Carry On 2020: A Tribute to Artists Lost in 2019.
The show will feature Good Egg Records artists Britt AM, The Brain Porter, Crones, Danny Bell, Sean Wesley Wood and Naomi Kavka, who will perform songs from their catalogues.
The night will end with a group surf set in tribute to Dick Dale, who died in March, and was a pioneer of surf music.
The tribute will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion at 1116 6 Ave. on Saturday, Jan. 11, starting at 9 p.m. and there is a $10 cover.
