The Crazy Señoritas, a troupe of drag queens from Puerto Vallarta are bringing their popular show to Prince George.
For the past eight years, they’ve drawn crowds of Canadian snowbirds to the Luna Lounge dinner shows in nearby Bucerias, Mexico.
Their show features musical tributes, warped adult humour, and interactions with the audience.
For the past few years, they’ve also been touring Western Canada to bring their show to audiences who might not be able to travel down to Mexico.
While the Crazy Señoritas say that drag shows aren’t for everyone, the group notes they have a way of winning audiences over and it’s often the people who are most reluctant to attend have the most fun.
Last year, the group performed 27 shows during their summer tour, but, for 2019, they’ve narrowed it down to 22, including Prince George.
The Crazy Señoritas will be performing Aug. 19 and 20 in the Cariboo Room above the Black Clover (1165 5 Ave).
Tickets include the show and dinner for $64.95 and are available for purchase at the Black Clover or The Twisted Cork (1157 5 Ave).
