If you need help finding legal information, you’re in luck because the Justice Education Society of B.C. (JES) is hosting a free workshop at the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library.

The free community workshop takes place on Monday (March 9).

The workshop will help individuals find good legal information in a wide variety of topics including criminal, family and small claims.

The session will be hosted by Lali Pawa, a JES Public Legal Educator.

Participants will learn about the many free legal resources available in Prince George and online.

The goal, Pawa says, is for participants to leave the session with increased legal capability to identify their legal issues and to understand the process and the system.

JES delivers programs and services in various courthouses throughout the province and has an office at the Prince George Courthouse.

(Disclaimer: No legal advice will be given, information only.)

The session takes place from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
