Did you know you can get ice cream at one of Prince George’s most beloved parks?

The Fort George Railway Station at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, home to the iconic Little Prince, is also the Fort George Railway Ice Cream Shop.

Not only can you purchase a ticket to ride around the park aboard the Little Prince train, but you can also stop in for a delicious scoop (or two or three) of Frozen Paddle Ice Cream.

Enjoy your ice cream on the deck in front of the adorable and historic railway station, or take a stroll through the park as you eat your tasty treat.

Frozen Paddle is a local ice cream company that hand makes its craft ice cream using local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible.

The Fort George Railway Ice Cream Scoop Shop is open from May 18 to September 2.

It will be open 7 days a week (yay!) from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

You can catch a ride on the Little Prince Saturdays, Sundays, and Statutory Holidays from 1 to 5 p.m. but please remember that the train can’t run in inclement weather.
