The Canadian Armed Forces and National Defence are always in need of hardworking people to help our nation safe.
So, if you’ve always considered a career in the military, then a job fair this weekend in Prince George is a place you’d want to check out.
The ‘B’ Company of the Rocky Mountain Rangers are hosting its annual Canadian Army Reserve Job Fair on Saturday (Oct. 5) to showcase several employment opportunities within their rank.
A release from the Canadian Armed Forces states the Reserve is a ‘great opportunity to make new connections, gain valuable leadership experience, work in unique environments, and develop transferable skills.’
Local residents will also meet Army Reservists, view interactive displays and take part in ‘dynamic and informative activities’ during the fair.
If someone is interested in signing up right away, they’ll be able to begin the enrolment process and apply in-person.
The job fair will be set up at the Meadows Armoury (687 Dornbierer Cres.) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
