Northern Health has no new COVID-19 test positive cases, provincial total now 2,530

Northern Health remains at  62 cases, with no new COVID-19 cases announced in the region.  

Today (May 25) there were 12 new cases of COVID-19 recorded provincially over a 48  hour period, for a total of 2,530 cases in British Columbia, as Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, and Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s provincial health officer, said in their COVID-19 briefing.

There have been four additional deaths in B.C. from COVID-019 since Saturday, May 23, but just 12 new confirmed cases, and no new community outbreaks to report.

“Our new numbers continue to track low,” provincial health officer Bonnie Henry said Monday.

Hospitalizations are down to just 37 people, with only seven of those patients in intensive care. There are 267 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 2,102 people who tested positive have recovered.
