North District RCMP searching for man 'considered to be dangerous offender'

Mounties in northern B.C. are asking the public to keep an eye out for a man who they say is considered a dangerous offender. 

Dawson Creek resident Stacy Ray Laglace is wanted on 21 counts that have been formally charged by the courts and is now is wanted on multiple un-endorsed warrants for his arrest.

B.C. RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in a release Leglace's charges include extremely violent offences such as aggravated assault, discharge a firearm with intent, kidnapping and robbery, among others.

The 32-year-old is described as: 

  • First Nations male
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • 5'6" tall
  • Roughly 185 pounds

"North District RCMP continues their efforts to locate and safely arrest Stacy Laglace," O’Donaghey adds.

"We want the general public to be aware that he is known to carry firearms. If spotted, you are urged not to approach Laglace, instead we ask the public to call 9-1-1 or their local police immediately."
