No fee means school busing to stay in red, says trustee

Completely eliminating the $500,000 gap in the school district's transportation budget is out of the question now that trustees have swept away the possibility of charging parents for the service, says school board trustee Sharel Warrington.

Asked if the overrun can be erased without charging a fee Warrington, who chairs the board's management and finance committee, said "no" in an interview following trustees' unanimous decision to steer clear of imposing a user fee.
