Pine Centre Mall will be hosting a three-day event offering free seminars and demonstrations on everything you need to craft a new image.
New Image College of Fine Arts will be coming from Vancouver July 16 to 18 to teach people about the industries of acting, make-up and spa first hand.
"There is going to be a lot of interest for regular consumers as well as those interested in the industry itself," said Shelley Readman, marketing director at Pine Centre Mall.
The event coincides with Sir Elton John's concert in P.G., which means the city, and therefore the mall, will have lots of regional traffic as well.
"Timing is very important, and this is one more way to create excitement around the event," Readman said.
Gemini Award winning actor Phil Granger will discuss everything from the life of an actor, to audition techniques to starting a career.
Amber Downing and Michelle Grady both work with the 'stars' as an esthetician and makeup artist respectively, and will be demonstrating their skills over the weekend as well.
Also, Gemini Award winning makeup artist Ryan Nicholson will also be at Pine Centre, talking about foam latex prosthetics Friday and Saturday.
