The 23rd annual Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Bear Dip will see participants take the frozen plunge into the water as a fundraiser that helps send kids to camp.

The dip takes place January 1, 2024 ,and starts off on dry land at 1:30 p.m. where prizes are won for most money raised and best costumes.

"This fundraiser is an epic event,” Dayna Penson, event organizer, said. “Something super unique to the north.”

In the event’s 23-year history, more than $190,000 has been raised for children in need.

The adventure begins at 1:45 and goes until 3 p.m. After taking the plunge, participants can grab a free hot chocolate and a cinnamon bun.
