National Aboriginal Day will be celebrated at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park Sunday from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend the festivities that include a parade, opening ceremony, entertainment and activities geared for children and families.
This celebration will showcase the diversity of culture, heritage and the talents of Canada's aboriginal people.
The celebration of National Aboriginal Day is an opportunity for intercultural exchange and understanding.
The opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m., followed by entertainers like Khast'an Drum Group, Kym Gouchie (who will sing and drum), the City Limits Band, Rick Stavely and Jorgan Corrigal, director of Woof Stock.
