A man believed to be responsible for a shooting earlier this month has been arrested.
On Nov. 8, Tobin John Woods was taken into custody after the Prince George RCMP's serious crime section carried out a search warrant at a Foothills Boulevard home.
During the search, investigators located evidence believed to be related to the Nov. 2 shooting on Nation Crescent that sent a 51-year-old man to hospital, where he remains in stable condition. Police believe the victim was shot after he intervened in a dispute between the suspect and another person.
A number of significant items unrelated to the shooting were also found, including a quantity of what's believed to be methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a loaded hand gun and what's believed to be explosive material.
Woods, 27, was held in jail over the weekend and is expected to appear in court later today facing a variety of charges.
