Applications for the spring intake of the City of Prince George myPG Community Grant are now being accepted.

The myPG Community Grant assists not-for-profit organizations in implementing new or enhancing existing projects that align with the city's goals of increasing community pride, encouraging health and wellness, fostering social connections, promoting arts and culture, and ensuring equity and inclusion.

Eligible projects can be large or small and grants typically range from $2,500 to $8000. Applications are evaluated based on alignment with the grant criteria, value for investment and other considerations including council’s interest in financially supporting a variety of organizations and initiatives.

But be warned, some expenses are ineligible. The myPG Community Grant will not fund for-profit businesses, ongoing operational expenses, research, or professional development.

The myPG Community grants are one way the City of Prince George invests in supporting non-profit groups through its third-party service delivery model.

Applications for the myPG Community Grant are accepted twice per year, with the upcoming intake deadline on March 15 at 4:30 p.m.
