Prince George and area saw starts on 17 new homes in November, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
That's up from 11 during the same month last year, raising the year-to-date total to 121, up slightly from 110 by the same point last year.
As for multiple-family housing, there were starts on 11 units in November, up from one during the same month last year, and raising the year-to-date total to 25, compared to 68 by the same point last year.
