BC Parks is providing $19,500 to School District 57's aboriginal education program to pay for ethnobotany tour signage at Eskers Provincial Park.
The money comes out of $450,000 set aside through BC Parks 100th anniversary community legacy fund.
In May, community groups around B.C. with connections to their local parks were invited to apply for funding through the program to support improvements to 27 parks across the province.
The groups also provide in cash and in-kind funding totaling nearly $470,000 for a total project value of nearly $970,000.
BC Parks announced the projects Friday.
