The Prince George RCMP believe that the man recently reported missing may have been involved with a shots fired report last week.

On Friday at about 11:45 p.m., RCMP were called to a report of shots fired on Upper Fraser Road near Highway 16 east of the city.

Evidence was located at the scene that indicated someone may have been injured, however no victim or suspect was located and a vehicle was observed leaving the area immediately after the incident, RCMP said.

Then, on Monday, RCMP received a report that Jordan Taylor McLeod, 24, was missing and was last seen on Friday in Prince George and Vanderhoof, which he is believed to often frequent.

RCMP believe the two incidents are connected and are asking the public's help in locating the vehicle Jordan was seen driving, a burgundy 2006 Chevrolet Malibu with a 'Quality Assured Collision and Glass' decal on both doors and bearing B.C. licence plate 163 RNA.

RCMP are also on the lookout for a grey 2013 Chrysler 200 with B.C. licence plate 693 RVV.

"In addition to locating Jordan, we are asking the public to keep an eye out for these vehicles, especially on back roads between and around Prince George, Vanderhoof and Quesnel," Cpl. Craig Douglass said.

Anyone who sees either vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately and to not approach the car.
