Missing man may be in Prince George

RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a Hazelton man who may have traveled to Prince George. Allan Ross Barabash, 64, was last seen on Nov. 29 when he was hitchhiking on Highway 16 from New Hazelton to Smithers.

RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a Hazelton man who may have traveled to Prince George.

Allan Ross Barabash, 64, was last seen on Nov. 29 when he was hitchhiking on Highway 16 from New Hazelton to Smithers.

Barabash had recently mentioned to friends that he wanted to go to Prince George, police said.

He is described as Caucasian, five-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 215 pounds with blue eyes and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black Livestrong jogging pants with a yellow stripe, yellow shirt and black sweater.

Anyone who may have seen Barabash or knows of his whereabouts are asked to contact Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or New Hazelton RCMP at 250-842-5244.
