Microsoft to shine light on local company

Prince George-based ABC Communications is getting some help from Microsoft to launch an expanded and improved website management program.

ABC's marketing director, Joy Sturgeon, and senior web developer, Jeff Paetkau, are featured in a video talking about the company's Vaya CMS product and Microsoft's WebsiteSpark program.

Microsoft WebsiteSpark offers web designers and developers a jump-start by providing the tools and resources needed to build great websites with no upfront cost.

Vaya CMS, in turn, allows business owners to manage their own websites and includes a five-step program that can have a business owner's website up and running in 10 minutes or less.

"This is a huge vote of support to the Vaya CMS team. We are launching a huge Vaya CMS campaign starting in June and our Microsoft video will start the launch," Sturgeon said in a press release issued this week.

The video, now up on YouTube, will be displayed in Microsoft's May newsletter.
