Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and struck during a home invasion in the 2200 block of Spruce Street on Saturday night.
RCMP, who were called to the scene at 9:20 p.m., said it appears two to four masked males - one carrying a handgun - pushed their way into the home and demanded money and jewelry.
A struggle ensued and the suspects fled empty handed before police were called.
The victim, who was transported to hospital, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
All the suspects were wearing dark clothing and at least one was Caucasian and at least one was First Nations.
