The man attended the Prince George RCMP detachment shortly after police sent out the photos. RCMP said he was subsequently arrested and released with a date to appear in court in March.

His name was not provided and approval of charges by Crown counsel remain pending.

The incident occurred at a bank at Pine Centre Mall on Dec. 7 during the early morning.

The machine was severely damaged but no money was taken, police said.
