Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of stabbing to death a man in Sexsmith, Alta., who may be on his way to the Lower Mainland.
Jordan Joseph Wendland, 28, is described as Caucasian, five-foot-11, weighing 161 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The incident, which left three others injured, occurred at a bar in the community's downtown early Sunday morning.
Wendland, who sometimes goes by the surname Cesena and had recently moved to the Sexsmith-Grande Prairie area, was identified as the suspect and it's believed he may have left for the Lower Mainland where he previously lived.
He is wanted on one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
Wendland is considered dangerous and should not be approached if seen.
Instead, call 911 immediately.
