Mackenzie RCMP is asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who is wanted for breaching his probation.
A province-wide warrant was issued Friday for the arrest of Richard James Harris.
Harris is considered violent and anyone who sees him is asked to refrain from approaching him and instead calling their local RCMP detachment.
He is described as First Nations, 5'11 inches tall and weight 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
In December 2011, Harris was convicted of uttering threats, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, and possession of a firearm contrary to an order and was sentenced to two years in jail and two years probation.
Since then he has been convicted of breaching his probation three times and of breaching an undertaking once.
