Police have issued a call for the public's help in tracking down a Prince George man wanted for a 2011 assault of a taxi driver.
Derek Jay Nicholas Doknick, now 26, is considered violent and anyone who sees him is asked to call RCMP immediately.
He is described as Caucasian, five feet one inches or 154 cm tall and weighing 161 pounds or 73 kg with brown hair and hazel eyes.
The taxi driver was allegedly attacked by Doknick and another unidentified person shortly before midnight on April 10, 2011 near the intersection of Fifth and Carney. The victim was punched and spit on but left with minor injuries, according to police.
A B.C.-wide warrant for Doknick's arrest was originally issued in September 2011.
