At approximately 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 29 Prince George RCMP received a report of a robbery that occurred near the intersection of South Tabor Boulevard and Hansard Crescent.
The victim, a 51 year old Prince George resident, was walking home on the east side of Tabor Boulevard near the intersection of Hansard Crescent when he heard a vehicle approach from behind. Moments later, he was attacked by an unknown number of persons. A passerby noticed the victim struggling and called 911.
No descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle were obtained.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC by the BC Ambulance Service. He was later released.
A silver ring and a Bulova watch were taken during the attack.
