Police in Quesnel arrested a man and are recommending charges for theft of a vehicle, impaired driving and fleeing from police after responding to a call of a stolen truck in the 100 block of Ewing Drive in Quesnel.
According to RCMP, they located the suspected stolen truck minutes later, but the driver did not stop when police activated their lights and sirens. The man behind the wheel eventually stopped after police deployed a spike belt and cut the truck's tires.
A 24-year-old man remains in custody pending his first court appearance.
