A Prince George man police have identified as a prolific offender is facing two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Aron Leif Gray Johnson, 28, is facing the counts as a result of a Jan. 31 police raid on a home in the 2200 block Redwood St. in the VLA.
"Significant amounts" of cocaine and heroin and a smaller amount of methamphetamine and evidence of drug trafficking were seized, police said at the time.
A 30-year-old woman was also arrested but had not been charged as of Monday.
Johnson, who has been remanded in custody, also continues to face charges from an alleged January 2010 hit and run. That case is scheduled to go to trial in March.
In late October 2011, Johnson and three others were arrested for an alleged home invasion but all charges were stayed in April 2012 due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
Johnson is on the Prince George's RCMP's prolific offender watch list and had been selected for special targeting under the detachment's crime reduction strategy, police said at the time of his most recent arrest.
