Prince George resident William Malcolm McKay was charged in provincial court Friday with eight firearm-related charges which include unauthorized possession of firearms, possession contrary (to a court order) and unsafe storage.
The 36-year-old has more charges pending as Crown Council works through the file. The charges are sufficient to hold him in custody.
McKay was arrested Jan. 21 by Prince George RCMP teams at his home on Inlander Street where police seized a number of firearms, ammunition, weapons and some drugs.
