Man bear sprayed and robbed of $40

Investigators are looking for the public's help in tracking down a man suspected of using bear spray in an early-morning robbery.

He is described as Caucasian, 188 cm (6'2") with a slim build and wearing a black jacket with white and blue stripes, a red bandana around his neck, blue jeans and white shoes.

The man made off with $40 cash after deploying the weapon on another man in the 1700 block of Strathcona Ave. sometime before 1:45 a.m., Prince George RCMP said.

Anyone who may have information that could help police locate the suspect is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
