Making it right

UNBC associate economics professor Jalil Safaei's name was spelled incorrectly in a story in Monday's Citizen on Canada's decision to end its diplomatic ties to Iran.

The story also made reference to the possibility that Iranian people might not look favourably upon Canada as a result of last Friday's decision by the Harper government to close its embassy in Tehran, and attributed that observation to Safaei. In fact, Safaei was making the point that pro-government Iranian people who side with the republic in its foreign policies will not be popular with the majority of Iranian citizens who do not agree with those policies.
