The Prince George chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving has launched its Project Red Ribbon campaign to promote sober driving during the holiday season.

The Prince George chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving has launched its Project Red Ribbon campaign to promote sober driving during the holiday season.

"The Project Red Ribbon message is simple: by attaching a red ribbon to your car antenna or your key chain you are making a commitment, A commitment to drive safe and to drive sober," said MADD Prince George media director Shannon Rodrigues.

The ribbons will be available at this Saturday's Spruce King's hockey game. They'll also be available at B.C. Liquor Stores starting Dec. 1.

The campaign runs until the first Monday after New Year's Eve.

For more information or to request a red ribbon, go to the Project Red Ribbon page on the MADD Canada web site at www.madd.ca or email [email protected].
