Mackenzie parents raise questions about school closure

Trustees fell short of saying they will back away from closing Mackenzie elementary school during a public consultation meeting on Thursday night, but gave one important assurance, according to Mackenzie mayor Stephanie Killam.

"They have indicated they're not going to close the school up and destroy it," Killam said in an interview Friday.
