The Raising Hope Campaign is just shy of its goal to raise $60,000 before April 1 when the the Miracle Theatre production of "Dancing Lessons" officially opens.

The campaign is raising funds to support Ukrainians arriving in Prince George through the Refugee and Hope Endowment Fund.

With only a few days to go before April 1, the campaign is only $4,000 short of its intermediate goal of raising $60,000.

“We are determined to meet and hopefully even exceed our goal, but we can’t do it without you. Please consider donating today,” said the organizers.

In total, the campaign hopes to raise $100,000 which will support Share Hope Prince George and the work they are doing in assisting Ukrainians who are settling in the community seeking refuge from the war.

So far the campaign has reached 56 per cent of its $100,000 goal.

The campaign is running in conjunction with Miracle Theatre, and was kicked off in a big way with a $20,000.00 donation by local resident Eli Klasner.
