Five Prince George dealerships are participating in an incentive program to encourage the purchase of clean energy vehicles.
If you buy or lease a a qualifying new battery electric, fuel cell, plug in hybrid electric or compressed natural gas vehicle, you can receive up to $5,000 off the pre-tax price under the Clean Energy Vehicle (CEV) Point of Sale Incentive Program, which started Friday.
Not every new car dealer in the province is participating, but Honda North, Northland Nissan, Northern Toyota, and Prince George Motors Ltd., and Wood Wheaton Chevrolet Cadillac Ltd. in Prince George are among those that are.
