Link Union, a folk, rhythm and blues, gospel new grass, family band is playing Thursday at the Elder Citizen Recreation Centre, 1692 Tenth Ave., as a fundraiser for the community radio station, CFIS 93.1 FM. The station is run by the Prince George Community Radio Society.
"We, as a station, need to raise money so we can get more power with our antenna on Connaught Hill," Bill Ollinger, president of Prince George Community Radio Society. "We need to raise close to $20,000 to reach our goal and we'll have several fundraisers this year to help with our cause."
