A night of family fun is on deck for the 20th annual Civic Light up Wednesday night.
The Prince George Public Library, Civic Centre and Two Rivers Gallery are teaming up with sponsors and supporters to bring the community a night of activities to ring in the holiday season.
Beginning with the countdown to light up at 5:30 p.m., the night will also feature skating on the outdoor rink, figure skating demonstrations, hay rides in the Civic Plaza along with live music, visits from mascots and free hot cocoa.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in the plaza at 6:30 p.m. and will stick around in the library's Knowledge Garden until 7:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.
For those wanting to get in from the cold, head to the library for story time, make mini holiday lanterns inside the art gallery or check out the Festival of Trees inside the Civic Centre.
