More than 50 children spent Friday afternoon at UNBC learning about science.
The Summer University for Northern Youth, SUNY, held a big finale for one of their week-long science camps, ending with an explosion. This week they were joined by other youth from the YMCA.
"The big boom was scary," said Chloe Neudorf, age seven.
