Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign in Prince George has collected a total of $59,687.04 as of Dec. 2. Last year at the same time, the total was $55,822. The goal is to collect $250,000 by Christmas Eve.
Wayne Wood, campaign co-ordinator, says the number of volunteers has passed the 1,000 mark.
