The Junk in the Trunk sale returned to CN Centre on Saturday morning running from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All 125 vendor stalls had sold out and the popularity of the event was on display with hundreds of eager treasure hunters milling through the crowd and checking out stalls looking for the perfect item. There were thousands of items for sale ranging from car parts, kids toys, old dolls, and collectible coins, with everything in between.
The biannual event is hosted by the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George and REAPS to encourage the reuse and recycling of items, so those items avoid being tossed in the landfill.
