The B.C. Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation has announced that JobFest, a touring rock n' roll-themed job fair and exhibition, will be coming to 25 northern communities this spring, arriving in Prince George on May 24.

"British Columbia's youth are vital to our economic future, and it's important that they have access to the information needed to make a smart decision about their future career," Jobs Minister Pat Bell said in a written statement."JobFest brings labour market and career information, tools and resources to them, and delivers it in a fun and engaging way."

JobFest will feature performances by Victoria-based pop-rock group Acres of Lions, along with local talent.

Two tents shaped like giant amplifiers will showcase online resources for career-seekers, career information videos and a temporary tattoo parlour offering temporary career-oriented tattoos and job information.

JobFest will be at the Prince George Civic Centre.
