An escape from Prince George Regional Correction Centre has cost a man 30 months behind bars.
Prince George provincial court judge Michael Gray issued the term to Timothy Shawn Preddy, 45, on Monday for an August 2, 2009 jailbreak, committed on his birthday.
Preddy was on the lam for six weeks before he was arrested in Prince George.
