It's a wrap!

The Child Development Centre has opened their annual gift wrap booth near the Sears entrance at Pine Centre Mall.

The Child Development Centre has opened their annual gift wrap booth near the Sears entrance at Pine Centre Mall.

Thousands of gifts are wrapped at the booth during the Christmas season with 100 per cent of proceeds used for regional activities of the CDC and the Cystic Fibrosis Society. Darrell Roze, CDC executive director, said the CDC annually serves more than 1,000 children coping with delayed development.

"Community support at activities such as our gift wrap service provides critical support for the centre's programs and services," Roze said.

The booth will be open during mall hours up to 3 p.m. December 24th.

Volunteers interested in demonstrating their gift wrapping skills are welcome. Call 250-563-7168 for more information, or drop by the booth at Pine Centre.
