If you have plans to drive north of Prince George towards the Peace region this week, be sure you're prepared.
The Pine Pass was issued a snowfall warning early this morning (Feb. 10) as up to 15 cm is expected by tomorrow (Feb. 11).
Highway 97 will see a low-pressure system starting today with snow beginning to intensify by the evening.
The white stuff will stretch from the Pine Pass, through the Williston and McGregor regions and into the far northeast corners of the Peace River district.
Drivers are being strongly encouraged to adjust their habits on the road as conditions could change in an instant.
There may also be low visibility in higher altitudes.
There are no travel advisories in effect from Drive B.C., but you can check their website for more updates as they come in.
